You Don't Have to Be a Fall Down Drunk to Be an Alcoholic - Take It From someone Who's Been There

Alcohol addiction is one of the top diseases in the world. Some of you may say you do not think you are addicted to alcohol, but you are only lying to yourself. Do you drink more than 2 glasses of wine after the kids are put to bed at night? Do you commonly have a six-pack of beer at the end of a long work day? You don't have to be a fall down drunk to be determined an alcoholic.

Being addicted to alcohol is hard. It's hard on your mind. What is development you feel like you need to drink so much? It's very hard on your body. The estimate one side consequent of alcoholism is kidney disease. It's not only bad for your kidneys; it's bad for your liver, skin, and your brain. Believe it or not you can suffer irreparable brain damage from the long term effects of alcohol. But the estimate one thing that being an alcoholic is hard on is your family. What do your children think when 'Mommy's acting funny again" or when "Daddy can't (or shouldn't) drive me to get ice cream because he's sleepy"?

If you are serious about getting help for your alcoholism you have probably tried all things you can think of to help yourself. Maybe you've tried reading books from sublime doctors claiming to have the cure for your disease. Or maybe you've chosen to join a religious group that sometimes seems to look down on you because you are not like them. Whatever you've tried it obviously hasn't worked or you wouldn't be here reading this.
